Mary Ty, Assisted Living Director

With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, Ms. Ty brings a strong clinical background and a passion for compassionate, person-centered care to her role as Assisted Living Director at Argento.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, Ms. Ty has served in leadership and clinical roles across assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and acute hospital settings. Her extensive experience includes resident care management, individualized service planning, dementia and memory care, infection prevention, complex wound care, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance.

Before joining Argento, she spent nearly two decades as a Health and Wellness Director and Assisted Living Director within local senior living and memory care communities. Her diverse clinical experience has given her a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and social needs of older adults, as well as the importance of supporting families throughout their loved one’s journey.

At Argento, Mary is committed to creating an environment where residents feel respected, valued, and cared for as individuals. She believes exceptional senior living begins with knowing each resident personally and creating a culture where compassionate care and meaningful connections are at the heart of everyday life.

She looks forward to building relationships with residents, families, and the Argento community and contributing to a vibrant environment where residents can thrive.

Ms. Shire brings a lifelong passion for senior living and a deep commitment to enriching the lives of older adults and their families. For over a decade she has served in a variety of roles within the industry—from concierge and business office to activities and sales thus acquiring a unique perspective on senior living and a deep appreciation for the important role every team member plays in creating a true sense of home.

Today, as Executive Director of Argento Westchester, Ashley leads with warmth, compassion, and a genuine love for the seniors she serves. She is passionate about creating a community where residents feel valued, engaged, and cared for, while families feel supported and confident in their loved one’s care. For Ashley, senior living isn’t simply a career—it’s her calling.
